REFUNDS – once a course has started a refund will not be forthcoming as you will have taken up a place which could have been offered to someone else. In exceptional circumstances and where clients have kept us informed, a place may be offered on the following course only. Refunds prior to the course will be offered, however, if you have been sent a training pack, attended our social sessions, or been offered advice, a reasonable deduction will be made.
The following deductions may be made:
Training pack – £5
Social session– £5 each
Advice – £5/contact
Refund for Block bookings
If you complete one course and have booked two course the refund payable will be £50 as a £10 admin fee will be charged to re advertise your place.
If you complete one course and request refund for two courses then a refund of £85 will be forthcoming as a £10 admin fee will be charged to re advertise your place.
Home Visits and Private Training
All clients are reminded to read the policy on refund and cancellation for home visits and club courses.
Home Visits – Sessions may be cancelled and re-arranged provided I receive your instruction no less than 48 hours before the course time. Cancellations on the day of the session may incur the full cost of the session or result in a reduced subsequent session. Please be aware that Bertie Dog Training operate a waiting list system and only work with a limited client group in order to prioritise clients and maintain quality. To ensure we receive your message please telephone us and not email. Deposits will only be refunded where adequate notice is given.
Private one-one sessions – Refunds will be considered with respect to four sessions provided no cancellations have been made without giving adequate notice of at least 48 hours by telephone only. Where possible due to unforeseen circumstances alternate sessions will be offered for one-off cancellations only. When booking one-one sessions the first session will levy a charge of 65% of the total fee due to the extra time taken to work though any assessments and report writing. Any extra time in addition to eh allowed time will also be taken into consideration. The second, third and fourth sessions will be discounted pro rata at 11.65% of the total. Where refunds are considered to be appropriate, you will receive Please note in any event any refunds are agreed they will be made will be as follows:
One session 11.65% of the total less a charge of £15 for any reading materials.
Two sessions 23% of the total less a charge of £15 for any reading materials.
Three sessions 35% of the total less a charge of £15 for any reading materials.
Where an Assessment has been carried out prior to visits any refunds will reflect the amount of time it has taken to read through the assessment and write and reports subsequent to this. Any refunds given will be less £50.
By commencing sessions you will have deemed to have read the above terms and conditions.
Payment is strictly required within 7 days of the arranged visit and if not received we reserve the right to offer the session to clients on our waiting list. If under any circumstances payment is delayed three days after the first session is concluded, and we have to remind you, an extra 10% will be levied on the outstanding amount.
Sheep Social / Awareness
Refunds will be considered with respect to four sessions being booked for sheep awareness courses but please be aware that the sessions you have had prior to cancellation will incur the full charge and not the discounted charge. When booking one-one sessions the first session will levy a charge of 65% of the total fee due to requiring an assessment and the session taking longer and for the detailed training packs which will be emailed to you. The second, third and fourth sessions will be discounted pro rata at 11.65% of the total. Where refunds are considered to be appropriate, you will receive:
One session 11.65%
Two sessions 23%
Three sessions 35%
Where a discounted price is offered, if payment has not been received before the course/training has started, then the discount will no longer apply and the full price will have to be paid.
Government guidelines will be followed at all times. If you are in a lockdown area it is your responsibility to inform us and sessions will be re-arranged. If we are not informed in advance and we find out during a session, we reserve the right to cancel that session and you will forfeit that session with no extra session offered. If in doubt please ring in advance.
